CO adsorbent

The PX-13CO dedicated adsorbent leverages the differential adsorption capacities of special molecular sieves under specific pressure conditions at targeted sites. Through a proprietary preparation method, this adsorbent exhibits exceptional selectivity for the adsorption of carbon monoxide, capable of purifying CO levels in various gases to below 0.5 ppm. It is particularly suited for the purification of carbon monoxide in nitrogen-containing gases, such as feedstock for ammonia synthesis.

Moreover, the PX-13CO adsorbent can be employed in the purification of carbon monoxide in off-gases from various carbonylation reactions, blast furnace gases, and synthesis gases. Utilizing the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technique, it enables the recovery of carbon monoxide with a purity exceeding 98% from these gases.
